Art New England Sept-Oct. 2015: Providence, R.I. Gallery EOSS

”Jessica Nissen’s Candy Grotto paintings are confectionary in color and sensuous in mood. Nissen redecorates the cave interior, swapping stalactites for sugar and syrup. Vibrance drips, slips, and slides through these paintings, imbuing them with rich, luscious luminosity. In Peppermint Race Track, a starlight mint glides across grooves of white, pink and red.” – Alexander Castro
